Boundless Approves Latest Version Of Geospatial Platform With QGIS

FREMONT, CA: Boundless, the developer and supporter of powerful software for enterprise Spatial IT applications, certifies interoperability and support of QGIS 2.8.2. This latest version of the open source GIS desktop application runs on OpenGeo Suite 4.6.  

OpenGeo Suite is a comprehensive spatial platform for managing data, building maps and applications across web browsers, desktops and mobile devices. It is built on open source geospatial software, like PostGIS, GeoServer and QGIS.

With this release, Boundless makes available several new custom QGIS plugins for Enterprise customers, designed to develop the usability and functionality of QGIS. It includes, Military Grid Reference System (MGRS)-Tools which coordinates when working with a QGIS map and WebApp Builder, which enables QGIS users to easily build web-based applications.
