Boundless Unveils Updated Version of Enterprise Geospatial Software Platform

NEW YORK, NY: Boundless, a provider of IT solutions has unveiled OpenGeo Suite 4.6 the latest version of its enterprise geospatial software platform that will enhance the organization’s web, mobile, desktop maps and applications.

The updated version of the platform help users build solutions for production environments that include enterprise databases, advanced runtime environments, or sophisticated clustering solutions in support of scalability requirements.

New capabilities and enhancements in Version 4.6 include: Enhanced OpenGeo Suite Compose that helps users to easily build maps so as to add data to GeoServer, style layers, and publish to the Web. Besides this, the updated version also enhances layer management and allows publishing to OpenLayers3 templates for easy website embedding thereby making it easier for users to use YSLD syntax for styling.

Other features of the updated version include: Improved reliability, handling, and security when executing geospatial analysis; multiple updates to rendering and tile design capabilities; Numerous updates and bug fixes to all components to improve stability and reliability across the entire software stack.
