Box Boosts Collaboration with IBM to Expand Cloud Alliance for Efficient ECM and Business Process

The expanded strategic alliance integrates IBM Case Manager and IBM Data cap. IBM case manager platform encompasses documents, data, social media, video, audio, and images to provide a flexible workflow control. It allows users to access both structured and unstructured information in the cloud to gather the right content for improved business outcomes. IBM Datacap acts as universal capture portal that transforms documents from mobile devices, multifunction peripherals (MFPs), e-mail and fax for use in enterprise content management (ECM) and line-of-business systems. This portal reduces labor and paper cost by delivering meaningful information to improve the responsiveness of customer service. Now the integration of IBM Case Manager with IBM Data cap delivers enriched mobility through a customizable mobile app that captures documents and automatically extracts and classifies key information for efficient ECM and business processes.
Additionally, Box brought its enterprise content management and collaboration platform to salesforce. Customers of both the companies can now import documents stored in Box’s Cloud Storage and content management service into Salesforce for an efficient enterprise workflow.
