FREMONT, CA: In the latest investment made by Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) in the field of strategic procurement, BravoSolution was chosen as one of its expert partners. CIPS, the world’s largest procurement and supply professional organization would now be assisted by their newest partners in developing a centralized knowledge hub on their website. This knowledge hub would contain a repository of procurement and supply chain resources which the members of CIPS would have access to. This would help in the professional development of the members and would in-turn improve business performance of the organization.

Text-based and video content on various topics such as risk management and spend analysis have been included in this knowledge hub. The knowledge hub’s repository will also include specialty content featuring resources on tracking and reporting of savings. “We’re working with CIPS to give procurement professionals the knowledge and resources they need to do their jobs even more effectively, and move their organizations to the forefront of delivering procurement value,” said Jim Wetekamp, CEO, BravoSolution. Other features of this knowledge hub comprise justifying and validating procurement decisions, developing and fostering innovative procurement approach, supplier collaboration approach and simplifying RFx processes across organizations.

To make the knowledge hub more insightful, and guide procurement professionals in solving everyday challenges, case studies, practitioner insight and industry best practices have also been included. The knowledge hub has been designed to support CIPS members’ professional development by providing them the knowledge needed to advance beyond conventional procurement practices.

“This new knowledge partnership with BravoSolution will encourage procurement professionals to think more strategically and empower them to be more confident in applying new ideas and approaches that add value to their business and beyond.” said David Noble, Group CEO, CIPS.

Though the knowledge hub would be strictly restricted to the members’ of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), early access has been given to media groups for publicizing the repository at http://www.cips.org/BravoSolution.
