Broadsoft Validates Patton's SmartNode for Trouble-Free Deployment of Unified Communications
FREMONT, CA: BroadSoft, a provider of telecommunications software and services, announces validation of Patton’s SmartNode Enterprise Session Border Router (ESBR) – SmartNode Trinity – as interoperable with the BroadWorks Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
The SmartNode Trinity is a Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) based Session Border Controller that has been validated with BroadWorks. The ESBR products are equipped with built-in traditional telephony interfaces so that businesses can use the integrated legacy port to connect their bought-and-paid-for PBX systems with BroadSoft’s SIP-based unified communication services for enhanced workforce productivity.
The new universal Trinity OS makes it easy for customers to install, configure and operate any new Patton product without having to re-tool the network management system or learn a different user interface from one product to another.
