FREMONT, CA: Capgemini – a consulting, technology, and outsourcing services provider – and VMware, the cloud virtualization solutions provider, have announced a strategic partnership in the area of enterprise-managed mobility and end-user computing that better serve a business’ cloud requirements.

Capgemini will provide enterprise mobility and organization change management for sectors such as retail, healthcare, utilities, and financial services. VMware on the other hand, will bring its enterprise-managed mobility solution through its AirWatch. The resultant product would be industry-ready accelerators in the form of off-premise hosted options or on-premise cloud models for enterprises to uniquely match client’s business needs.  The initial collaborative is expected to be available across U.S., EMEA, Latin America, and APAC.

AirWatch by VMware provides enterprise workers with a centralized console to easily access content and applications from any device through BYOD and other mobile strategies. This solution enhances the productivity through mobility, agility, and accessibility.

Capgemini will provide end-to-end services including mobile strategy, mobile development, and managed mobility, to the enterprises. These services can be tailored to specific industry sectors. Organizations would be able build and deploy applications.

Base services will include: AirWatch system administration, helpdesk support, mobile platform implementation, mobile application administration, and AirWatch deployment. Extended services will be comprised of BYOD, managed mobility strategy (as-a-service per device per month), Master Data Management (MDM) migrations, customer application development and data analytics. The client would have the option to select an as-a-service package that suits their organization.

“We are proud to announce this partnership with VMware.
