Cartika's Virtual Desktops for a Secured Work Environment

Cartika, an Infrastructure-as-a-service and hosted enterprise services provider’s release of new hosted virtual desktop product is yet another move to be cloud based, revolutionizing the way businesses deploy and manage desktop operating systems and applications.
Traditional concept of desktop is being shattered with the arrival of this new virtual desktops whioch controlled and maintained in the cloud. Companies are now able to more efficiently manage, deploy, and secure their employees’ work environment.
Built on Cartika’s high-performance cloud infrastructure, Cartika Virtual Desktops offer a full desktop hosting solution. Available with Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8 as the base operating system, the company’s cloud desktops run on virtualized infrastructure with one CPU core, 2GB of RAM, and 60GB of disk space.
As with all of Cartika’s modular cloud products, adding new features is simple. Hardware enhancements including additional memory and RAM are available, in addition to a number of Microsoft applications and services, including Microsoft Office in both Standard, Professional, and Enterprise versions, and Terminal Services. Default installations include Microsoft’s Forefront anti-virus software.
