FREMONT, CA: CentriLogic, a cloud computing, managed hosting, advanced IT outsourcing and co-location solutions provider, has signed an alliance with Collins Barrow Toronto to assist them in co-location of the data center and management of security services. The Toronto based firm for financial advisory is a primary member of the Collins Barrow National, a Canada-based premier chartered accountant group. The accounting firm selected CentriLogic considering its efficiency in organizing and managing its IT infrastructure during the period of higher growth.
CentriLogic will provide services to the Collins Barrow Toronto that is available at two of its sites. CentriLogic plans to utilize the Mississauga site as its primary hosting site and its downtown Toronto location will work as a backup site. Both the companies have signed the deal extending for a period of 39-month where the project cost is seen increasing up to $430,000. CentriLogic will also provide redundant internet connectivity to the primary site for the office of Collins Barrow and a dedicated connection to the backup site from the primary facility.
"We chose CentriLogic over several other contenders because they are very pragmatic in their solutions and flexible to meet our needs, there is not a standard box that they are asking us to fit into. It was also important to us that our two corporate cultures were aligned. We consider ourselves nimble, bold, pragmatic, disruptive, and true partners to our clients, and that is how we view CentriLogic," says Rhonda Klosler, COO, Collins Barrow Toronto.
Collins Barrow Toronto had kept itself busy in maintaining the data center on its own from last several years at the downtown Toronto office. But now due to the outdated infrastructure and frequent power cuts the work of IT staff has been continuously disrupted. That urged the company to hand over the operations of an external provider. The financial advisory firm selected CentriLogic as their data center solutions provider by considering some of its salient factors like competitive pricing, custom offerings, well-built security, high reliability, and its support for future growth needs. CentriLogic will also manage its firewall services and upgrade the firm’s firewall technology.
"As Collins Barrow expands their offerings in the market, we will be working closely with their team to design the most flexible and agile infrastructure possible to help them bring maximum value to their clients," says Robert Offley, President and CEO, CentriLogic.
