Ciqada Strengthens Ground for Wi-Fi Enabled Smart Humidor

FREMONT, CA: Ciqada, an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider, partners with Cigar Oasis, the supplier of Smart Humidor humidifiers. The partnership focuses on equipping the Smart Humidor with Ciqada’s full suite of integrated hardware and software, creating ground for the Wi-Fi-enabled humidors The company also partners with GainSpan to use GainSpan GS2011MIZ module for Wi-Fi communication within the Ciqada module.

A Smart Humidor is the combination of Cigar Oasis Humidifier with a Wi-Fi Attachment which allows for remote monitoring, control, and low water alerts. Ciqada provides an integrated solution composed of hardware modules, cloud server, notification system, web interface and mobile apps to support the remote monitoring, humidity control, and alert notifications for the Smart Humidor. The Smart Humidor website and the mobile apps are customized via Ciqada’s powerful API to bring a complete facelift, swifter response, and more user-friendly functionality to the smartphone user.

GainSpan solutions let customers easily create connected products for the Connected Home, Smart Energy, healthcare/fitness, control/monitoring in industrial, commercial and residential markets and high-speed audio, video and security applications.

Industrial humidifiers are used when a specific humidity level must be maintained to prevent static electricity buildup, preserve material properties, and ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for workers or residents
