DANVILLE, VA: With the aim of enhancing local club’s Internet performance for online training programs CirrusWorks, dynamic bandwidth management firm has affiliated Boys and Girls Club of Danville. This alliance underpins the club’s mission to assist the community’s youth to succeed in the digital age.

Faith Stamps, Executive Director, Boys and Girls Club of Danville states “it was annoying for students as well as faculties that every day the internet would slow down while students used the lab to do homework assignments, VA Standards of Learning exercises and preparing their college applications. Adding more capacity was not possible because of the budget constraints.”

CirrusWorks’s flagship product The Governor can be installed in minutes, without any pre-requisite configuration and can be automatically adapted to changing network conditions without maintenance or support. It also provides practical, robust reporting tools, including pre-built dashboards, usage statistics and traffic shaping charts and graphs. Data can be viewed by hour, day or month. Since the product was affordable, Boys and Girls Club went ahead and installed the product into their platform.

CirrusWorks has assisted hotels to provide consistently fast Internet services by using the portfolio Governor product.  “We don’t have a huge circuit, but the Governor has definitely improved what we have. The Governor noticeably improved Internet access for our students and administration, minimizing slow connections while increasing their productive time online,” asserted Faith.

The optimized bandwith provided by CirrusWorks enables local Boys and Girls Club chapter to further improve the technology and provide students accessibility to various online programs.  “CirrusWorks is proud to partner with the local BGCDA in support of their Club Kids technology initiatives and to assist the Club’s Administration in all the great work they do for the local community," quoted David Giannini, Chief Executive Officer, CirrusWorks, Inc.
