FREMONT, CA: Cisco researchers detect unique malware in domains like Amazon, Youtube, Winrar and Yahoo. Relying on the wide online advertising networks, the attack form seen is malvertising—a short form for malware advertising. Nick named ‘Stan and Kyle,’ it basically spreads spyware, adware and browser hijackers on both Windows and Macs. The network has been detected to include over 700 malicious domains from 74 large websites.
