Cisco Partners with IMD Business School to Boost Digital Business Transformation

SAN JOSE, CA: According to Gartner, 75 percent of business will be transformed to digital business spreading across multiple sectors such as automotive, banking, consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing, oil & gas, retail and utilities. To set up a futuristic plan for expanding digital business, Cisco partners with IMD business school that focuses on research, innovation and leadership to drive digital transformation into all industry verticals.

Cisco contributes funds to create the IMD/Cisco Global Center for Digital Business Transformation within IMD’s campus. The collaboration blends original research and open innovative approach to develop practical insights for business executives.

The primary agenda of Global Center for Digital Business Transformation is to stay focused on defining digital business transformation and its value by conducting original research that keeps the approach relevant in competitive marketplace. The center will continuously work on neutralizing digital threats and enabling executives to leverage the benefits of digital opportunities.

The collaboration employs several full-time researchers to generate thought leadership and organize learning events. Furthermore, it will expand to Cisco’s existing network of innovation centers around the globe.
