Citizens Financial Group Partners with IBM for Bank Internal Operations
FREMONT, CA: Citizens Financial Group announced the five year agreement with IBM whereby the IT Company will operate the bank’s internal IT system in Rhode Island and North Carolina data centers.
Citizens Financial Group will integrate IBM’s predictive analytics technology along with IT support. It will enable the bank to analyze the existing incident data and patterns that predicts to upgrade which is relevant for performance and cost effective. It will also support Citizens voice network and provide IT support for employees, reports Tanaya Macheel, for American Banker.
Predictive analytics technology helps to minimize server incidents. IBM’s IT automation technology has been implemented by the bank to improve system availability, reduce outages risk and to resolve operation before executing the work in order not to affect the potential service.
“Information technology plays a key role in our ability to anticipate and meet the needs of every customer, across every channel,” said Ken Starkey, chief technology officer, infrastructure services, Citizens.
