FREMONT, CA: Citrix partners with Red Hat to integrate NetScaler with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform for building OpenStack Clouds.

With the integration, customers and enterprises will have wider access to the product portfolio where they can assemble their cloud infrastructure using both Citrix and Red Hat components on OpenStack based clouds to deliver applications using NetScaler.

NetScaler being a core infrastructure for the cloud providers enable customers to have a comprehensive networking infrastructure solution to build their clouds on OpenStack. NetScaler Control Center offers full range of deployment methods natively integrated with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, and customers can use a single, native OpenStack configuration to automatically drive configuration changes to NetScaler.

The Red Hat OpenStack customers can use NetScaler platform to ensure availability, scalability and security of their workloads in public and private clouds, where they can have fully automated control over services to deploy complex configurations including clustering.

Citrix built NetScaler Control Center as a way to ease integration of NetScaler with the LBaaS (Load Balancing as a Service) in OpenStack. The Citrix LBaaS solution enables IT organizations to guarantee performance and availability service level assurances (SLA) as well as provide redundancy and seamless elasticity while rapidly deploying line of business applications in OpenSack.

NetScaler Control Center is a cloud networking automation solution for inserting NetScaler load balancing service and advanced application delivery service into virtual networks. It provides secured availability of NetScaler functionalities to the Cloud users at a single control point, offers end-to-end automation across all NetScaler appliances, centralized visibility and reporting OpenStack environments, and fully automated deployment of NetScaler High Availability pairs on both virtual and physical appliances with full state synchronization and fault tolerance.

“Customers choose OpenStack because they want a truly open, production-ready platform for building their public or private clouds. By working together with Citrix, NetScaler is now certified to work with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform and offers customers the rich capabilities of NetScaler for workload availability, security, scalability, and performance,” said, Radhesh Balakrishnan, General Manager, OpenStack Red Hat.
