FREMONT, CA: CitrusAd, one of the fastest-growing retail media platforms, has partnered with Petco Health and Wellness Company, a complete partner in pet health and wellness, to launch CitrusAds retail media technology for sponsored products and display advertisements across its e-commerce, desktop, and mobile platforms. Petco's vendors will benefit from targeted digital advertising options, and pet parents will be able to identify appropriate products to fulfill their pets' individual needs.

Petco's vendors can now use the CitrusAd platform to run highly relevant, sponsored product and display marketing campaigns throughout Petco's ecommerce platform to boost sales. Participation can be done through a managed service or on a self-serve basis. Ads are displayed in an organic, relevant way to enhance a customer's online buying experience, owing to the platform's real-time relevancy engine and Petco's first-party data. With a fully transparent dashboard, brands can quickly launch and measure campaigns to track awareness, engagement, conversions, and an accurate Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

Brands saw a 300 percent to 400 percent return on ad investment as a result of these efforts, not counting the predicted in-store impact.
