Clinovo Partners with Therapeias Health Management to Enhance its Electronic Data Capture System
FREMONT, CA: Clinovo, a provider of cloud-based eClinical software partners with Therapeias Health Management, a provider of web-based system for remote source-data verification to extend its eClinical suite and supplement its electronic data capture software, ClinCapture.
Therapeias’s TheraScan is a system for remote source-data verification using a web browser. The system utilizes a combination of document scanner and biometric smart card to create certified copies of paper documents. The copies are uploaded to the Document Repository to make it available for secure viewing over the network via a web browser.
With TheraScan, clinical trial monitors are able to do offsite source-data verification without site visit. It provides significant savings on travel costs, greater control over the process with centralized management of the verification process and a secure backup of paper source documents. The addition of TheraScan with ClinCapture will further extend Clinovo’s electronic data capture (EDC) capabilities to meet the needs of medical device and pharmaceutical companies that are looking for integrated solutions to run efficient clinical trials.
ClinCapture features a self-service platform and do-it-yourself case report form (CRF)and edit-check builder allowing clinical trials managers’ to create CRFs and edit checks in a matter of days without any programming experience. It empowers Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device companies to build studies themselves, lower their clinical trials costs and streamline their data capture processes. Clinovo’s eclinical suite includes EDC, ePRO (Patient Reported Outcome), CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System), Safety solution, and CDISC Express (CDISC conversion system).
