To tackle this data safety issue, Cloud|AG, a Microsoft’s cloud technology, has collaborated with AvePoint.
With this collaboration, they are delivering Office 365 customers new protection, which is based on AvePoint’s Online Services platform, for data loss and leakage with enhanced security and administration features that broadens beyond coarse backup and restores of their Office 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive data. Users have the freedom to choose the place for backups to be stored, like on Azure, other cloud or on FTP. The solution is complete online and needs no support or installation.
“Microsoft’s Office 365 platform provides great value to businesses of all sizes but can raise new concerns about data protection. Our solution helps Office 365 customers not only protect themselves from accident or malicious data loss but also addresses data leakage by locking down business content without hindering productivity,” says Michael Ganote, Vice President of Cloud|AG. 3

Enterprises can also bring into line business-critical data to deliver both internal and external Office 365 users with matching content through a single action. The Office 365 customers also includes improved mail restoration, where users can perform out-of-place restores to access resources and mailbox archives with the help of Exchange Online app.
