Code Dx: Available In the Cloud, Adds Support for Whitehat Security's Application Security Testing Tools
NORTHPORT, NY: Code Dx Inc, launches the 2.1 version of its Software Vulnerability Management System, Code Dx 2.1. The latest version will run from cloud and is integrated with WhiteHat Sentinel to its its arsenal of Application Security Testing (AST) tools added with JIRA capabilities and automated data imports from several leading third-party AST tools.
Ken Prole, CTO for Code Dx said, "We work with organizations of all shapes and sizes that often have very different application security testing needs." Prole adds, “We pride ourselves in listening to the unique requirements of each of our customers and enhancing our solutions to specifically address their diverse and ever-changing needs. All of the enhancements in version 2.1 were direct requests from our user community and were designed to accelerate the vulnerability discovery and remediation process and ensure their software is void of any weaknesses that could result in a breach of their data or systems."
Services of Code Dx are now available to Bitnami users through common cloud shares environments (i.e. Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Platform, VMware vCloud Air). The use from cloud makes Code Dx services easy to use without much hardware hassles and offers other resource requirements of an on-premise solution. The cloud availability also allows users to access Code Dx easily without the need of installer and also easily scale the solution as their software vulnerability testing needs boost.
The Code Dx 2.1 provides additional support in order to import results founded by third party tools like Checkmarx, Veracode and WhiteHat. This saves time for the users and eliminates the need for manual steps required to import data into Code Dx.
To view custom fields in Code Dx, Code Dx now supports custom fields for JIRA users. This also offers template language that makes it convenient for JIRA users to decide the JIRA fields that needs to be auto filled.
Other than the existing support to dozens of dozens of commercial and open-source static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST) tools, Code Dx now also extends to WhiteHat Sentinel SAST, DAST and manual review solutions.
Code Dx Standard Edition Version 2.1 and Code Dx Enterprise Edition Version 2.1 are now available across the globe as an affordable and practical step of advancing software assurance program within an organization or enhancing an existing software assurance program.
