CommScope team deploys an out-of-the-box way to avoid installation errors and mitigate Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM) by combining and pre-configuring RF equipments like antennas, remote radio units, cable assemblies in SiteRise, which is usually installed at the top of the cell network tower. Coming to the bottom of the cell tower, the team designs cabinets specifically for Cloud-RAN architectures in Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and related applications. The cabinets provide enclosures for hub sites, support fiber connections and manage cable flexibly by integration of power and other equipment.
Focusing on the installation of monopole sites like metro cells, the team integrates pole and cabinet solution easing the connection to AC power, radio equipment, transmission lines and antennas in one unit and supports both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, the latest addition to CommScope’s Metro Cell Concealment Solutions portfolio. CommScope breaks the barriers of power and communication transportation by offering Powered Fiber Cable System, further adding Power over Ethernet (PoE) to enable single and multimode fiber, functional up to three kilometers range.
