Compact CPR60 is the New RFID Innovation

FREMONT, CA:  A leader in producing RFID solutions and services, FEIG ELECTRONICS has launched CPR60, a compact RFID reader module designed as an application in terminals, printers, handheld, and portable devices. The new product is ready for commercial availability, and as the name suggests, it is very small in size. This tiny new module provides four interfaces for smart card contact units and supports contactless smart cards and connectors. CPR60 makes the best choice for electronic ticketing applications in the domain of public transport. 

The new CPR60 is based on the proprietary technology, HF-RFID, by FEIG ELECTRONICS. CPR60 module features a low-power standby mode, facilitating transponder operations. The compact size of the device is 1.6 x 1.6 inch form factor. 

The CPR60 module is a new addition to the family of the RFID portfolio of FEIG. The module provides developers with a never-ending list of potentialities and capabilities. They are as follows: CPRStart software for test, configuration, and demonstration of the reading functions and a firmware update tool, as well as numerous SDKs (software development kits) and drivers. With this wide range of use cases, quick integration with any customer application is made seamless and possible. The newly launched compact module has an embedded antenna, 3 SAM sockets (ID-000), a smart card connector (ID-1), and other connectors that can connect to the USB, SPI, and RS232 interfaces.
