Doostek selected TNB Tech for contactless self-check-in kiosk trials at a Korean airport using Neonode contactless touch technology.

FREMONT, CA: Contactless technology has now become the order of the day. With the sudden outbreak of Covid-19, airports all over had to pull up their socks and ensure they made everything contactless, including baggage check-ins and issuing boarding pass. Doostek, a Korean contactless solution supplier, has collaborated with TNB Tech for contactless self-check-in kiosk trials at a prominent Korean airport using Neonode contactless touch technology.

"The interactive kiosk segment is important to Neonode's contactless business and I am delighted having a new customer in Doostek with a capable solution that is now making its way into the Korean airport kiosks," comments Urban Forssell, CEO of Neonode on the collaboration.

Touch Catch, a contactless retrofit solution, has been deployed on multiple self-check-in kiosks at a significant Korean airport. Doostek and the airport are now evaluating user experience and passenger response as part of the field trial, which began in May 2021 and is continuing.

Daniel Kim, CEO of Doostek, adds, "I am proud of Touch Catch and the self check-in airport installation. Thanks to Neonode's contactless touch technology, we will contribute to a virus free travel and I am looking forward to expanding Doostek through product adoption at many Korean airports."
