Contour Airlines Ties Up with Radixx International for its Project Implementations
FREMONT, CA: Radixx International a global provider of cloud based reservation and distribution systems in the aerospace sector recently announced its tie up with Contour Airlines, a brand extension of the charter airline, Corporate Flight Management (CFM).
The airliner commenced its inaugural services between Nashville and Tupelo providing Tupelo community with the much-awaited airline service. Contour will operate thirty flights a week with a special introductory fare of 18.99 US dollars for each seat purchased by the end of April.
With an aim to provide high-quality air service in the under-served areas in US, Contour enters into contract with Radixx technologies to offer first-rate travel products and to connect people to the national air transportation network. The new route between Tupelo and Nashville reduces the travel time considerably, and is supported by CFM’s existing fleet of Jetstream 31/32 and Jetstream 41 aircraft.
Contour plans to add Essential Air Service (EAS) markets throughout US- a program by US government to serve rural communities across the country. The company selected Radixx considering the affordability for the scope of its near-term network and the capability to support its needs as the network is expected to grow in the coming years.
“Radixx provides the ability to easily manage our initial network and inventory while also providing the robust tools needed to properly accommodate our future distribution needs,” says Matt Chaifetz, CEO of Contour Airlines. With its comprehensive tool set for Corporate Flight Management, Radixx enables airlines to create and manage their offers to the market. It includes features such as Inventory Allocation, Yield Management, Establishing Flight Schedules and Creation and Modification of Fares, Fares Classes and Fare Basis Codes.
“The CFM management team possesses a great deal of industry experience as well as a focused vision on how to build Contour,” states Ron Peri, CEO of Radixx International. “Radixx has been designed as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system using an Oracle RDBMS to enable sales, via any direct or indirect channel, using any form of payment,” affirms Peri.
