Couchbase and Gimbal Join Hands to Power New Mobile Applications with Personalized Experience

Under the partnership, Couchbase will integrate its Couchbase Mobile solution with Gimbal’s mobile engagement platform to deliver an integrated solution for developers throwing light on retail, hospitality and transportation apps. As a NoSQL database solution for mobile, Couchbase Mobile is is designed to provide consistent access to data, with or without a network connection. It comprises of features like quick availability of data, cross platform support, local file system encryption and secure synchronization between local and remote databases.
Gimbal’s mobile customer engagement platform is powered by Bluetooth Low Energy beacons and analytics. It provides secure transmissions for user privacy and managed experiences, enhanced data with lower deployment costs and easy management of beacons over the network.
The Gimbal and Couchbase joint solution will allow developers to build applications with real time, consistent experience. Couchbase enables a fully connected experience owing to its ability to store data locally even without a consistent network connection. Once the data is stored locally, Gimbal beacons serve customers in any location with real time customized content.
