CTERA has Acquired the AWS Outposts Ready Designation

CTERA, the edge-to-cloud file services leader, announced that it had acquired the AWS Outposts Ready designation, which is a part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program.

FREMONT, CA: This designation understands that the CTERA Enterprise File Services Platform has displayed a successful integration with AWS Outposts deployments. AWS Outposts is a completely managed service that extends AWS infrastructure, APIs, AWS services, and tools to virtually any data center, co-location space, or an on-premises facility for a consistent hybrid experience.

The company achieves the AWS Outposts Ready designation positions CTERA as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member with a product thoroughly tested on AWS Outposts. AWS Outposts Ready products are usually available and supported for AWS customers, with clear deployment documentation for AWS Outposts. AWS Service Ready Partners has displayed success in building products integrated with AWS services, helping AWS customers evaluate and use their technology productively, at scale, and different levels of complexity.

In order to support the seamless integration and deployment of AWS Outposts ready solutions, AWS established the AWS Outposts Ready Program to help the customers identify products integrated with AWS Outposts and spend less time evaluating new tools and more time scaling their use of products that are integrated with AWS Outposts deployments.

CTERAs AWS Outposts Ready status allows customers to rethink traditional branch office IT and enjoy unlimited file storage capacity at edge locations without compromising performance or security. Customers can quickly deploy a wide range of edge-to-cloud file services use cases, including multi-site collaboration and global file sharing, VDI workspaces, and data tiering and archiving while eliminating the overhead associated with dedicated traditional NAS and backup systems.
