CHICAGO, IL: In a bid to create and distribute affordable evidence-based analytics, DARTNet Institute, a non-profit research support organization has recently merged with Apervita, the fastest growing platform and marketplace for health analytics and data. DARTNet through research supports collaboration among organizations that work to improve the quality of healthcare while Apervita’s platform allows organizations to create, use, distribute and scale analytics.

“With Apervita, DARTNet's analytics, such as measures and protocols, can now be accessed and used to support the delivery of care to patients, help mitigate patient disease risks, while also simplifying reporting requirements,” says  Wilson Pace, CEO, DARTNet Institute.

DARTNet’s collaboration with the Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRNs) allows medical practitioners to access a wide database of health records that improve patient outcomes. DARTNet Chronic Disease Screening & Management Protocols have been made viable to the Primary Care Physicians (PCPs). One of DartNet’s participating physicians was optimistic that the collaboration will give them the admittance to enter and establish DARTNet’s analytics which can be applicable in detecting chronic diseases.

In a recent survey by the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), it was found that Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) was increasing across the United States, contributing to the growing healthcare costs. However, NKF Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (KDOQI) suggested that early detection can help in improving the quality of life. DARTNet using Apervita’s platform equips physicians with solutions to deal with such problems. The CEO of Apervita, Paul Magelli states, “Apervita is enabling DARTNet and other organizations to make their evidence-based analytics widely available to clinicians.
