Data Center Services Soar High in the Market
BOULDER, CO: In the present milieu of business, data center has dominated the market and with gaining popularity and need for data center capacity every organization wants to keep pace with that.
According to a survey by Navigant Research, the Data Center Infrastructure Management systems are essentially changing the market scenario for managing complex data center environment. "DCIM - the software, systems, and services that monitor, measure, and help control data centers' IT and facilities infrastructure - is quickly becoming a must-have technology for managers of modern data centers," says Eric Woods, research director with Navigant Research.
For the DCIM vendors and data centers, ample opportunities have been dissipated from market hurdles like risk aversion. As per the forecast from the study, data centers will grow from $663.2 million in 2013 to more than 4.5 billion in 2020. This is because of the growing demands of the organizations to improve their energy efficiency.
As DCIM vendors are making their way from recognized companies like Schneider Electric, Emerson Network Power and Raritan, there is no doubt that they will expand their range in a wider scale in coming years.
