Dell Together with Microsoft Roll out a Hybrid Cloud Solution
FREMONT, CA: Dell expands its cloud portfolio with hybrid cloud solution and an extended program with its knowledge partner- Microsoft. The alliance will enable organizations of any size to use Microsoft cloud platform to transform their business processes efficiently, reports Adam Armstrong for Storage Review.
To advance hybrid cloud technology, both the companies announced Cloud Platform System Standard (CPC), which comprises of optimized Dell modular infrastructure with pre-configured Microsoft CPS software, including Microsoft software stack and popular Azure services. The new addition is easy to deploy completely compatible with Azure allows to build multi-tier layer for scalable applications. It will also include ProSupport and Managed Cloud Services.
The solution is built to reduce complexities with cost effective option for cloud deployments which includes, increased flexibility due to its modular design allows customers to scale up to 16 servers based on business needs; its comes with archival capabilities to Azure; CPS Standard is easy to use where operations, patching and updates are simplified with an automated framework.
Additionally the solution is compliant with Azure public cloud access and minimizes downtime with unified system updates; it has the ability to build workload templates and flexibly deploy business services and governance models of multiple cloud environments from one management construct, via out-of-the-box integration with Dell Cloud Manager (DCM).
