The firm also provides Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) solutions apart from administering Web and Mobile development projects. The new dotConnect ADO.NET providers for cloud applications released include Dynamics CRM, SugarCRM, Zoho CRM, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, MailChimp, ExactTarget, Magento, and Bigcommerce.
dotConnect providers offer standard Entity Framework data access to cloud data, enabling quick creation of all kinds of .NET applications, working with cloud data. It offers powerful design-time and allows quick designing of data access layer for .NET applications. While working with cloud data, Devart dotConnect providers take less efforts and code writing; also there is no special requirement to study cloud application APIs. Instead, it ensures easy integration with Microsoft's data access technologies.
Entity Framework, Microsoft's data access technology remove the hassles associated with accessing cloud data. The Framework is available in versions 4, 5 and 6. dotConnect providers is available in the package of visual designer for ORM models, with Visual Studio integration - Entity Developer. Besides, Standard Visual Studio Entity-Data Model designer is also supported.
The powerful SQL engine, also allows execution of SQL statements against cloud data, retrieving of cloud data with SELECT statements and managing them with INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements. dotConnect supports complex JOINs, WHERE conditions and others. It includes all the SQL benefits, which are not accessible through cloud APIs.
