Devart Unveils Upgrades of its dbForge Tools for SQL Server Product Line
FREMONT, CA: Database management software vendor Devart has updated two of its dbForge tools for SQL Server– the Data Generator for SQL Server and the dbForge SQL Decryptor. The Data Generator is currently available for free during a 30 day trial period while the SQL Decryptor is free of charge for an unlimited period, the company announced.
The dbForge Data Generator tool comprises of more than 190 predefined generators that offers sensible configuration options and emulates column-intelligent real-world data. It helps users save time and effort by populating SQL Server tables with millions of rows of test data that looks like real data. The updated version now comes with RegExp generator that enables users to specify the name of a generator through the template $"generatorName".
The new version also has additional improvements such as an Enhanced Check Constraint generator and IronPython, an open-source implementation of the Python programming language that now permits the use of internal RegexGenerator class. The dbForge Data Generator is equipped to populate tables of the most frequently used data types in healthcare, business, IT, payment, and product tables.
The dbForge SQL Decryptor is an intuitive tool that quickly decrypts encrypted stored-procedures, views, triggers, as well as functions that include scalar, inline or multi-statement table-valued. It provides users with a highly responsive UI, syntax highlighting, unicode support, batch mode, and decryption caching. The updated version offers compatibility with SQL Server 2012 SP2, 2014, and 2016 with a “check for updates” option added. It also features a redesigned installation wizard and an augmented SQL Editor with SQL Search functionality.
