Dialogic's Call Control Systems to Rejuvenate ADG LDI'sVoice Switching Infrastructure
PARSIPPANY, NJ: Dialogic – a provider of networking software and infrastructure solutions– will be upgrading ADG LDI (Pvt.) Ltd’s core voice infrastructure by replacing legacy Cisco switching technology with minimal network disruption.
ADG LDI (Pvt) Ltd is a provider of interconnect and retail telecommunications services in Pakistan will be replacing its end-of-life Cisco PGW 2200 Softswitch with Dialogic’s ControlSwitch System and I-Gate 4000 EDGE Media Gateways to support to support its domestic and international interconnection voice transport services.
Dialogic has enabled organizations to unshackle the limitations of end-of-life softswitch technology. The company’s control system is an open, carrier class platform delivering a host of features such as multi-protocol connectivity, distributed architecture and true geographic redundancy, interoperability with other vendor’s media gateway platforms, centralized management and policy based routing.
ControlSwitch System is replacing end-of-life legacy softswitch switching infrastructure. It scaled from few thousand ports to networks with over one million ports expanding as demand grows. Interoperable ControlSwitch System can work with other vendors’ media gateways including Cisco and AudioCodes to leverage existing investment. Reduced footprint configurations offers more initial traffic requirements and a cost effective carrier-class switching platform with advanced features. Coupling ControlSwitch System’s call control features with Dialogic’s media gateway solutions, companies can modernize global IP network while saving apparent costs.
“Dialogic’s ControlSwitch System and I-Gate 4000 EDGE Media Gateways are open platforms that enable service providers looking to replace their end-of-life infrastructure with a cost-effective and supported solution that can help effectively manage CAPEX and OPEX as they transition to next generation IP and IMS networks,” says Jim Machi, SVP, Marketing and Product Management, Dialogic. “We’re excited to help ADG LDI transition to the latest technology to continue to offer its international and domestic customers high quality and highly reliable wholesale services.”
