MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Docker, the platform of distributed applications for developers and system administrators has recognized Treasure Data as an Ecosystem Technology Partner (ETP) for logging. Treasure data, the inventor of Fluentd simplifies data management by providing managed analytics infrastructure as a service.

"We are happy to announce our new relationship with Treasure Data to support Fluentd as a native logging driver for Docker, Fluentd provides Docker users with a flexible and better way to collect route log data from containers" noted  Scott Johnston, SVP of Product Management at Docker.

Fluentd is an open source data collector letting users to unify data collection and consumption for better usage and better understanding.  Companies that are integrated to Docker’s platform are recognized by Docker during ETP program, where it highlights the targeted area and the availability of the solution given by partners to the community. The goal of ETP is to ensure that organizations providing Logging tools work along with Docker to ensure availability and performance of distributed applications.

Since Docker has a common framework, makes it easy to share and combine applications. Docker lets users wrap an application with all the dependencies into a standardized unit for software development. This container assures that it works in all the environments, "Through our Fluentd logging driver for Docker, we are excited to simplify data collection for the entire Docker community," said Hiro Yoshikawa, CEO of Treasure Data.
