FREMONT, CA: EchoStreams introduces Flache SAN2, an ultra-dense 48 bay server which occupies only 2U of rack spacing, making it compact and eye catching feature in the storage market industry. The new release is highlighted for its customizable abilities with hardware configurations and tailored to be integrated for specific organization needs, reports Storage Review.
Flache SAN2 comes with high density capacity supporting 48 bays, (SFF) 2.5" SSDs and other configurations including 7mm z-height SAS and SATA drives support making it compatible and more flexible. Additionally it supports SSDs making more efficient compared to other standard server vendors by consuming only 500W offering maximum saving with no compromise in performance. It consists of Intel motherboards and balance between disk side and controller side I/Os.
The design is sleek and simple for both premium and industrial capabilities. The specifications include, 3.8+ million IOPS or up to 25GB/s of bandwidth support; Intel proprietary size dual-socket Sandy Bridge EP; 16 DDR3 four channel/CPU 800/1066/1333/1600 RDIMM/UDIMM/LRDIMM; Up to two socket 2011 Intel Xeon E5 2600 V2 Ivy Bridge processors; Quad 1GbE ports Intel i350 onboard.
