ECI Launches PayArmor to Provide Multi-Layered Data Security
SCOTTSDALE, AZ: Electronic Commerce International (ECI), a provider of payment processing solutions has announced PayArmor –a suite of security and compliance services to help businesses protect customer data from cyber criminals.
With the threat of cyber crimes looming large, it is essential for mid-size and large enterprises to adopt solutions that can protect against fraud –and credit card data security breaches. That necessitates the use of focused, multi-layered data protection solutions. The PayArmor solution adopts a 4 step approach towards addressing the issue.
The first part of the program is ensures Payment card industry (PCI) compliance, where PayArmor provides a self-guided step by step approach to help users complete the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). The next step involves ‘fraud prevention’. Here, the users are provided with fraud reduction technology that can help protect against losses from accepting counterfeit and lost or stolen payment cards at the point-of-sale.
Besides this, the third step, which is the credit card security, employs a combination of encryption with random number tokenization that aims at eliminating credit card breach. To complete the process, the program provides coverage in the event of a data breach.
