Widening their partnership field, ECM Records has collaborated with the Universal Music Group for digital streaming of the label’s back catalog. Since its inception in 1969 by Manfred Eicher, ECM Records is known to be one of the best names with a catalog established since five decades and a diverse genre base including contemporary, jazz and classical music. Artists such as Keith Jarrett, Jan Garbarek, Paul Bley, Meredith Monk, and others have worked with the label, and their music will be available now on sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and more. Deutsche Grammophon, UMGs Yellow Label, will distribute the extensive ECM catalog internationally.
