EcoSys Unveils New Features for its EPC Solution
ORLANDO, FL: EcoSys, provider of enterprise project controls software, announces its roadmap of new capabilities for its EcoSys EPC (Enterprise Planning & Controls) solution. EcoSys supports smarter business decisions and better project performance through visibility, ease of use, process automation, and integration.
EcoSys’ software roadmap includes a new mobile apps framework, enhanced business intelligence analytics and 5D BIM (Building Information Modeling) integration capabilities.
This announcement comes shortly after Hexagon subsidiary, Intergraph Process, Power & Marine’s agreement to acquire EcoSys. Intergraph’s enterprise engineering software combined with EcoSys’ enterprise project controls software will offer current and future clients even greater productivity and advance the companies’ offering to the AEC (Architectural, Engineering & Construction) and BIM markets to improve project execution.
“As projects continue to grow in size and complexity, capital projects require much more powerful data automation and analysis tools in order to succeed. We are excited to unveil new features for our EcoSys EPC platform which will enable clients to increase visibility and productivity through new mobile apps and expanded business intelligence capabilities,” says Javier Sloninsky, CEO, EcoSys.
New features planned for the EcoSys EPC platform include New Mobile Apps that will be released as a suite of new, user-friendly mobile apps that allow users to work seamlessly online and offline. Users can easily submit text and/or photos to report an issue they may spot on a job-site, record updates, manage change approvals, capture field progress, or review up-to-date project dashboards and reports. The apps will make project data available and editable offline, and keep data in sync when the mobile device reconnects to the internet later. The easy and real-time access to accurate information on-the-go will improve collaboration across an organization, increase productivity, and enable better, more informed decision making.
In addition, EcoSys EPC Platform will provide Enhanced Analytics and Business to support greater portfolio and project intelligence through its data integration capabilities and real-time analytics which provide dynamic in-memory summarizations and interactive drilldowns. It will also provide 5D BIM Integration with Intergraph 3D modelling solutions to power 5D BIM. EcoSys EPC is a solution to enable 5D BIM, as it adds project scheduling integration (4D) and robust cost management capabilities (5D) with Intergraph PP&M’s 3D design and construction solutions.
