Edge Data Center Provider Databank Signs Reseller Agreement With Radware
Dallas, TX – DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, connectivity, and managed services, announced it has signed a new reseller agreement with Radware, a leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions.
“Managing security across a fragmented vendor landscape has made it more difficult and time consuming for companies to ensure uptime and keep everyone on the same page,” said DataBank Chief Information Security Officer Mark Houpt. “That’s why we are committed to providing a comprehensive menu of solutions that our customers can easily consume to safeguard their data center assets. In addition to DataBank’s already robust data security profile, Radware’s solutions will help our customers minimize risk and further manage the nearly inevitable cyber threats that occur as they move their mission-critical workloads and platforms closer to the edge.”
Radware provides 360-degree, real-time security for networks and applications hosted across on-premise and private and public cloud environments. Their fully-managed Cloud DDoS Protection uses behavioral-based detection, automatic signature creation, and unique SSL attack mitigation to protect organizations against today’s most dynamic and damaging DDoS threats.
For application security, Radware delivers a web application firewall (WAF), bot manager, API security, and DDoS protection. The security is based on patented behavioral-based algorithms that learn legitimate behavior traffic patterns and then separate malicious and legitimate traffic to deliver a higher level of security with lower false positives.
“We are happy to be joining forces with DataBank to help their customers securely transition and adapt to the next evolution of the internet,” said Bob Simpson, vice president of North American sales at Radware. “Our Cloud DDoS Protection and Application Security solutions offer state-of-the-art, frictionless security to meet the requirements of edge IT infrastructures.”
Radware’s solutions have earned industry recognition. The company was included in Gartner’s 2021 Critical Capabilities for Cloud Web Application and API Protection report, ranking second among 11 vendors for API security and high security use cases. Forrester ranked Radware a global leader in its report, “The Forrester Wave™: DDoS Mitigation Solutions, Q1 2021.” Quadrant Knowledge Solutions named Radware a leader in its 2021 SPARK Matrix: Bot Management report and 2021 SPARK Matrix: Web Application Firewall report.
