Elliptical International Selects Aspect for its Trade and Risk Management Solution
HOUSTON, TX: Elliptical International, a shipping and energy physical commodity trading company, selects Aspect’s trade and risk management solution AspectCTRM for its oil and gas sales and marketing team. The solution will be an important factor in defining Elliptical’s shipping and logistics operations while the firm will be expanding its reach in the global market.
After the selection of Aspect’s solutions, Elliptical accredited trade with major Russian suppliers like Rosneft and Gazprom that required effective and credible systems for real time management of operations. “It was a defining moment as far as showing our capabilities. Having AspectCTRM underscored the fact that we had a solid capability of managing our operations. No doubt it played a part in obtaining these accreditations which we are justly proud to have received,” says Brad Mothersbaugh, Director of Operations, Elliptical.
ApectCTRM trade and risk management solution is a multi commodity SaaS solution delivered in the cloud suitable for energy and commodity traders, risk managers, operations staff, and back office personnel. The solution will allow Elliptical to manage supply chains and scheduling of logistical resources.
“We like Aspect’s cloud foundation, we need no extra IT and as we travel a lot, we can get to our transactions from pretty much anywhere at any time globally,” says Mothersbaugh.
“With Aspect we literally hit the ground running. There is completeness to the system that’s missing in other offerings: it does everything we need in one system. Also the degree of understanding and the level of service we get from Aspect’s Houston team have been exemplary,” adds Motherbaugh.
