EMC and Vodafone Collaborate to Develop IoT Platform
FREMONT, CA: EMC and Vodafone have announced a partnership to offer an Internet of Things (IoT) development platform, Infinite.
The Industrial Internet Consortium, which focuses on developing interoperability standards and common architectures to bridge smart devices, machines, mobile devices and data created, has acclaimed the development platform.
Infinite will be extended across three data centers hosted by EMC, Vodafone, and cloud provider Cork Internet eXchange (CIX).
The platform can be used to promote IoT services to support industrial automation in manufacturing, fleet management, healthcare and higher education reports Business Cloud News.
