The software tool augment user’s applications and integrates with its system allowing users to take advantage of Hadoop with only minimal change to existing data skill sets. It can be deployed in-cloud, on-premise or from appliance across both Linux and Windows.

The partnership strengthens Data Lake to maximize the value of information. The certification and testing between OneFS operating system and HDP along with collaborative efforts between EMC and Hortonworks ensures customers have a secure and optimized Hadoop platform on Isilon.
