Empire Access Improves Communication Networks with GENBAND
PLANO, TX: Empire Access, one of the advanced fiber optic providers has set up a network transformation solution from GENBAND with a C15 call controller to improve its communication network in the IP-based technology.
“Empire Access has been a GENBAND (and formerly Nortel) customer for 35 years, so we are delighted that they have chosen to continue to entrust their communications network with our market-proven technology,” says John Ryan, Senior Vice President of Americas Sales for GENBAND. “We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with them to ensure that we are providing Empire Access and their customers with unparalleled communications solutions and service.”
Features like HD voice, hosted phone service and IPTV are offered to Empire access customers using this IP-based technology. This network transformation solution will strengthen the network communications into one centralized C15 call controller which radically saves power and adding more capability to offer more services to its expanding users.
“Consolidating our network has brought us a number of benefits including the ability to offer our customers the latest in communications services and dramatically improved network efficiency,” says Joseph Gottwald, Vice President of Network Operations for Empire Access. “GENBAND made the transition from our old technology to the new IP-based solution a seamless process and provided excellent technical support throughout the entire project.”
