Empirix Enhances Hammer Gen6 Test Platform for Enterprises and Contact Centers
BILLERICA, MA: Augmenting Hammer Gen6 Test Platform, Empirix, provider of end-to-end test automation extends functional, stress and ongoing testing for secure Avaya voice environments. The Empirix Hammer Gen6 test platform enhances communications by examining latency, performance and voice quality over encrypted communication channels. By deploying this platform, organizations can use protected communication networks for critical applications in verticals, such as financial, law enforcement, and healthcare, that use encrypted communications.
The Empirix Hammer Gen6 Test Platform bestows enterprises and contact centers with comprehensive communication encryption and device emulation capabilities for feature, functional, interoperability and stress testing of applications and networks. Empirix assures that enterprises can now confirm compliance and regulatory requirements; measure performance of encrypt/decrypt functionality, media resource utilization and interoperability and voice quality at peak call volumes before deploying their solutions.
“Our unique approach to testing secure environments gives our customers the ability to perform both encrypted and non-encrypted performance measurement and voice quality analysis while enabling intrusive negative testing to ensure detection systems are behaving as designed,” highlights Jeff Dell, Product Manager of Test Automation at Empirix.
The Hammer Gen6 Test Platform has received Avaya DevConnect Certification for the Avaya Aura Platform which provides advanced unified communications and contact center solutions throughout your enterprise. This certification validates Empirix as a provider of true end-to-end testing which interoperates with and emulates trunks and stations within test environments in the same manner as real phone sets or contact center agents.
The platform supports TLS/SIPS/SRTP as well as emulation of specific endpoints such as SIP and Avaya H.323 96xx series phones. The customers can test and deploy communications platforms which monitors both security and compliance requirements without compromising performance or voice quality with the aid of random generation of certificates or the import and configuration of hundreds of third-party certificates.
