End-to-End VPN Pack for Network Security
FREMONT, CA: Stormshield, a fully-owned subsidiary of Airbus Defense and Space, is launching Trusted VPN, a security pack providing sensitive environments with highly secure protection for data flows and information stored on security devices. The package includes high-performance, secure and certified network encryption functions for providing complete control over sensitive data such as configuration files or event logs. Further, Trusted VPN guarantees the authenticity and integrity of data transferred over encrypted networks in line with all standard procedures.
Security equipment configurations and connection traces are considered to be highly confidential information. To prevent malicious parties from intercepting configuration or log data, the Trusted VPN package allows clients to protect or destroy their sensitive data before sending in their encoder. In terms of network encryption, when the VPN module is used with Stormshield Network Security products and a network packet processing engine, intrusion prevention is automatically integrated into encrypted data processing. This provides maximum security without reducing performance of IT infrastructure.
The company’s solutions are trusted and certified at the highest level by independent organizations. “Our values are collaborative success, think global, and build trust, which means we work with our customers and partners all over the world, hand in hand,” Pierre Calais, CEO, Stormshield.
In the near future, Stormshield plans to expand its presence across Europe, Middle East and the U.S. From a technical view-point, the firm will also be releasing a new firewall designed to cope up with physical constraints of industrial environments and embedded with Wi-Fi. “We will also extend the integration capabilities of Stormshield Data Security to our new cloud platforms and cloud applications,” says Calais.
