FREMONT, CA: AudioCodes—provider of converged voice solutions enabling enterprises and service providers to transition to all-IP voice networks, announced that its Mediant Session Border Controller Virtual Edition (SBC VE) has been selected by Interactive Intelligence. The new enhancement is selected as a part of Interactive Intelligence’s Communications as a Service (CaaS) cloud solution. Interactive Intelligence will leverage AudioCodes' Mediant SBC Virtual Edition in order to empower enterprises with high quality, secured calls between businesses and their clients through their cloud-based CaaS solution for contact centers.
AudioCodes Mediant Virtual Edition (VE) Session Border Controller (SBC) is an essential aspect of AudioCodes' Cloud Delivery suite. AudioCodes' Cloud Delivery suite is planned to facilitate safe delivery of real-time communication services from the cloud while upgrading call quality services, reliability and elucidating provisioning and executive management. The Mediant SBC VE is built to meet today’s critical demands of organizations and service providers looking to virtualize their infrastructures and complement their datacenters on commodity server hardware. The Virtual Edition SBC delivers a wide-ranging and scalable solution supporting SIP interoperability, media handling including transcoding and protection.
AudioCodes' solutions for cloud environments also allow rapid deployment of latest services and capabilities such as WebRTC with OPUS wideband voice codec, real-time voice superiority improvements and scrutinizing—by utilizing AudioCodes Session Experience Manager (SEM) and session routing management.
