Entrust Datacard Launches Enhanced Solution to Design, Issue and Manage Secure Credentials
FREMONT, CA: Entrust Datacard, a provider of trusted identity and secure transaction technologies, launches Datacard TruCredential Suite Software, version 7.1. TruCredential software confers credentials such as student, faculty or visitor IDs. It is used to provide badges to employees and contract workers; patient and staff healthcare IDs; credentials for local government programs; membership and customer loyalty cards; and transit passes. The upgrade comes with improvements that provide easier set-up configuration.
The enhanced features in the new version include additional pre-built workflows for enrollment, credential issuance, and credential management. The integrated smart card personalization support provides users with access to pre-built encoding support for leading smart cards, making card personalization and troubleshooting easier. A trusted identity is established with the updated data and enrollment capture capabilities for capturing physical and logical cardholder data.
“For most organizations, the ability to positively identify employees, students and visitors serves as the foundation for effective physical security – which requires a flexible, web-based, secure credential solution,” says Ryan Zlockie, Vice President of Software Product Management, EntrustDatacard. “We are pleased to offer a complete software suite that can support both desktop and enterprise ID issuance capabilities within a single software technology platform.”
