etherFAX Introduces DirectFax Messenger Integration for Microsoft Teams
DirectFax allows users to send digital, high-resolution, and rich color documents to other etherFAX programs and regular fax machines.
FREMONT, CA: EtherFAX, a leading provider of hybrid-cloud fax solutions supporting healthcare enterprises, has integrated with Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams users may now send and receive faxes and other business documents using etherFAX's DirectFaxTM Messenger, which is now available in the Microsoft Store. DirectFax allows users to send digital, high-resolution, and rich color documents to other etherFAX programs and regular fax machines.
DirectFax Messenger uses the etherFAX Secure Exchange Network (SEN), a proprietary Infrastructure-as-a-Service technology, to send and receive faxes and other business documents securely. The world's largest fax network, etherFAX SEN, uses hybrid cloud technologies to ensure 100 percent secure conversations. As etherFAX is HITRUST CSF and PCI DSS certified and HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliant, its DirectFax service via SEN enables Microsoft Teams users guaranteed security and data protection.
"We are proud to continue to grow the etherFAX ecosystem with new app integrations," said Paul Banco, CEO and co-founder of etherFAX. "Now more than ever, organizations need innovative tools to support remote workforces and improve business processes. The ability to securely send and receive faxes and documents with superior color and clarity from Microsoft Teams gives organizations more flexibility and scalability than ever before."
Due to the connection, Microsoft Teams users may utilize etherFAX SEN to send business-critical information over Teams securely. They will not have to change a single workflow. etherFAX does not need a fax server or other software because it is a cloud-based solution. DirectFax can be set up individually for each Teams user or in an existing channel. Incoming papers can also be sent to specific Teams Channels using the DirectFax Teams connection, providing an automated digital workflow to ensure that the proper team receives the correct information. Users can also get searchable and archivable PDFs directly to their Teams channel thanks to etherFAX's DirectFax interface with Teams.
