ETI Software Delivers Next-Gen Device Management Solutions
FREMONT, CA: ETI Software Solutions—a global provider of end–to-end software solutions recently announced that Reserve Telecommunications located in Reserve, LA has selected ETI’s Overture OSS/ACS solution to manage customer services and devices. Designed specifically for broadband service providers who manage multi-vendor systems, ETI combines automated flow-through provisioning for multiple back-end technologies with spatial analytics to streamline operational efficiency.
“We have pre-built scalable software that integrates and automates provisioning of different technologies used to deliver all IP services,” explains Pete Pifer, CEO and Chairman of ETI Software. ETI’s next-gen solution, Operations Support Systems (OSS) incorporates all the devices, services and management for every service location and subscriber. ETI has single sign on modules, authentication, billing and customer care modules that are pre-integrated and can be deployed at a customer location, based on their current and future requirements. With a remarkable ROI, Overture ACS streamlines installation, maintenance, diagnostics and customer support by reducing the number of truck rolls, shortening the length of support calls, and expediting installation and maintenance–resulting in Operational Expense (OpEx) savings which gives good customer experience.
“We began our search online for a flow-through TR-069 enabled ACS platform,” explained Luke Guillory, the Network Operations Manager at Reserve. “When we discovered that ETI’s Overture ACS not only easily controlled our devices remotely but also integrated to the OSS software to match those devices with subscriber services and locations, we recognized it as a valuable and unique product.”
Furthermore, ETI Overture Self-Care Portal—browser-based tool, enables subscribers to identify and solve many issues that previously required the help of a CSR. This portal will also be deployed by Reserve. “This web-based portal grants subscribers the capability to self-manage familiar issues, such as forgotten Wi-Fi passwords, parental control adjustments and home network management without having to spend time on the phone with a CSR,” mentioned Greg Gross, Director of Product Management, ETI. “This increases customer satisfaction and simultaneously frees up service representatives to handle higher severity issues.”
