SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Figma, the developer of design software, has launched the online tool for Collaborative Interface Design both on web and app.  The company expects the feedback of their customers  to sift and provide Figma as the default tool for interface design.

“Design has become a core function across industries, and yet years later, there is still a massive gap between where design tools are and where they should be. Today, we work together in real-time, and we collaborate using web-based tools,” says John Lilly, Co Founder and CEO, Figma.

The tool specially serves for a better experience in collaborative design without sacrificing processing power or creative control. It is a  professional-grade software that offers speed and stability for programs like adobe; and versatility and collaborative flexibility for online apps like Google Docs. The tool comes up with WebGL which helps to save time in exporting, uploading, e-mailing, and downloading stale files. Figma allows teams the facility to use real case data on different devices.

The collaboration tools include real-time comments and notifications as well as colors and asset libraries. Also enables the teams  at contrasting locations to share the designs. The  upcoming plan includes adding simultaneous editing capability, where colleagues can edit the same design at same instance.
