CAMPBELL, CA: Arteris, the only commercial provider of Network-on-Chip (NoC) interconnect IP solution has been licensed on its product - FlexNoC interconnect IP as applicable on HYDRA WiGig and 60GHz millimeter wave baseband IP. Blu Wireless, has licensed the product based on its gigabit rate wireless modems operating in millimeter wave frequency bands.

The flexible and scalable architecture – Arteris FlexNoC, supports the current generation of multi-gigabit communication standards as well as integrates with the future innovations. The technology unites both fixed-function DSP blocks and highly optimized parallel vector DSPs to deliver end-to-end QoS (Quality-of-Service) to fulfill latency and bandwidth requirements. Desired QoS is delivered using minimal die area and power.

Getting deeper, FlexNoC v3 – the latest release foresees itself to act as the groundwork for future IP technology development. The product has been gradually improving with the customer feedback and research, making it easy for SoC architects and designers to carry out complex tasks. Creating, characterizing and modifying large design is no more a burden. It is now possible to have a single view of the entire SoC topology. Moreover, the top-down approach makes the fragmentation of tasks smooth to be handled by multiple sub-teams; and then merge the separate solutions into a single instance.
