ForgeRock has launched ForgeRock Go which is a new solution that eliminates the requirement for people to remember a username and password to log in to websites

FREMONT, CA: ForgeRock is one of the prominent providers of digital identity. The company has launched ForgeRock Go, a new solution that eliminates the requirement for people to remember a username and password to log in to websites. It even expands ForgeRock's passwordless capabilities that are already in use with customers and partners worldwide.

With an average of 130 online accounts, today, the consumers and employees struggle to recollect both usernames and passwords that are necessary to confirm access to their corporate and personal services. According to First Contact, 51% of the people utilize the same passwords for work and personal accounts, and 53% are depended on their memory for handling passwords. Passwords can also stop consumers from conducting frequent online purchases. According to research, people try to retrieve a password when checking out on an eCommerce site. Therefore, more than a third of them will leave the idea of online purchase, while 6 in 10 said it loses a time-sensitive transaction such as buying concert tickets.

"ForgeRock addresses the major themes we see as key requirements for clients, from IoT enabled identity to cloud to a world beyond passwords," said Michael Wyatt, Global Identity Leader and Principal at Deloitte. "The global pandemic has continued to fuel our Global 2000 clients' ambitions for digital transformation, and ForgeRock remains an active partner for us. We congratulate them on this exciting new capability."

The ForgeRock Identity Breach Report discovered that almost five billion consumer records were breached in 2019 alone, with the help of personally identifiable information (PII) taken in 98% of cases. Consumers often reuse their usernames and passwords, making it more manageable for the malicious cybercriminals to obtain access to the accounts without their knowledge. In most cases, they do so by restoring together information from the dark web from breach data.
According to ForgeRock chief product officer Peter Barker, "ForgeRock addresses the major themes we see as key requirements for clients, from IoT enabled identity to cloud to a world beyond passwords."
