Fortinet's security solution FortiSandbox Receives NSS Labs approval

SUNNYVALE, CA: Fortinet’s Advanced Threat Protection solution FortiSandbox, finally attains a “Recommended” rating from NSS Labs Breach Detection Systems (BDS) after being subjected to its rigorous testing methodology against detecting cyber threats.

FortiSandbox displayed an optimal balance in terms of performance efficiency and pricing, under testing and re-establishes Fortinet as the sole provider of integrated, end-to-end Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) protection solution.

NSS Labs testing is designed on the lines of problems faced by IT professionals in detecting previously unknown and often targeted attacks engineered to circumvent conventional endpoint and perimeter security solutions. And FortiSandbox was able to detect majority of advanced exploits and malware under a few minutes, with the lowest cost of ownership (TCO) when compared with similar products.

Along with FortiSandbox, Fortinet's Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) Framework also includes FortiGate Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Next Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS), FortiWeb Web Application Firewall (WAF) as well as FortiClient Endpoint Protection. These integrated products have been independently subjected to testing at NSS Labs against other competing providers and were found to deliver superior protection, performance and price, with each component ultimately earning NSS Labs' Recommended rating.
